Impish Salopette
A new challenger approaches: it’s the Impish Salopette! A new friend for the Impish JSK that I made last year at this time <3
✦ Made from a 100% cotton velvet. Skirt is lined with a polyester lining, and bodice is lined with a poly/cotton twill.
✦ Wings and straps are made of a nice vegan leather.
✦ Features 2 pockets at the front, which are finished in the same soft lace that adorns the hem and bodice.
✦ Waistband is fitted. (I know not everyone is a fan of this, but I had to make it this way to accommodate the back piece, and have a flat/stable area for the wings. FYI I do make ‘fitted’ waistbands about 1/2” bigger than the size you enter, to give a bit of breathing space/room to tuck in a blouse, so keep that in mind when entering measurements.)
✦ Batty straps are adjustable at the back, with all black hardware.
✦ Also features 2 stitched crosses: one on the front and one at the back.
✦ Wings are stitched in place and are not removable. They’re lined and stabilized so they should keep their shape well and not flop around too much while worn.
